About Reelio

Reelio publishes practical guides to watching film and television at home. Where a setting is hidden, what it actually does, when something arrives, and what a cheaper plan takes away.

We run on a single promise: we keep our work accurate after we publish it.

That is a smaller claim than the trades make and a harder one to keep. Most sites treat publishing as the finish line. A release schedule goes up in March, the dates move in June, and the page sits there wrong for two years collecting search traffic. A menu path gets copied from another guide, the manufacturer renames the setting, and the instruction survives long after the screen it describes.

What we cover

Five sections, and nothing outside them.

• How to Watch. Episode schedules with exact United States dates, viewing orders, and how to track down a specific film.
• Streaming Tips. The settings the apps bury: autoplay, subtitles, downloads, the Continue Watching row.
• Picture and Sound. What each television setting really does, where each manufacturer hid it, and how to get the audio format you were promised.
• Save Money. Free legal services, library streaming, and an honest account of what an advertising tier removes.
• Explained. Why the business works the way it does, worked out from primary documents rather than from other coverage.

What we do not cover

• Reviews, ratings and criticism. We publish none, and there is no five-point scale here, because a verdict requires having watched the thing and that is not what this site does.
• Music, unless it is a film or television soundtrack
• Video games, unless a screen adaptation is the story
• Sports
• Celebrity lifestyle, fashion, fitness and wellness
• The influencer and creator economy
• Politics, unless a film or series is the subject

Those boundaries are published because the temptation to widen them arrives with the first traffic plateau. Renting out sections of this site to unrelated third-party content is a specific thing we have promised never to do, and the promise is written down at Ethics where you can hold us to it.

How we work

The method is dull and it is the entire point.

Menu paths come from the manufacturer or the service, not from another guide. Where an article tells you to open Settings, then Picture, then Expert Settings, that path was read off Samsung's own support page or LG's own help library, and we link them. This category of writing propagates errors sideways, one guide copying the last, and a renamed setting can outlive the screen by years.

We say when a control does not exist. Prime Video exposes no switch for browse-screen previews on its television apps. That is an unsatisfying sentence to publish, and it beats sending you to look for something that is not there.

We do not publish a date nobody has announced. The standard move in release coverage is an estimate in the headline and the word "expected" in the fourth paragraph. If a studio has said nothing, we say that it has said nothing.

We avoid publishing numbers that rot. There are no subscription prices anywhere on this site, because they change several times a year and a stale figure that still ranks is worse than no figure. What we publish instead is structure: what a tier removes, which titles it excludes, what survives a cancellation.

Every article carries a named byline linked to a real author page and a visible publication date. Where a piece rests on documents rather than on how an app is laid out, it carries a Sources block, and where a primary record exists we link the record rather than another outlet's account of it.

When we get something wrong we say so at the foot of the article, we sign it, we date it, and we list it in the public index at /corrections. The pre-correction version is retained so the trail has teeth. Full detail is in our Editorial Policies.

Ownership and funding

Reelio is published by ItsReelio, based in Fort Worth, Texas, United States. The company is wholly owned by Teja Pagidimarri. No media group, studio, distributor, streaming service, PR agency or outside investor holds any stake in it, and no third party has any right of review over what we publish.

Reelio carries no advertising today and earns no revenue. The intention is to fund the site with display advertising through Google AdSense on article and section pages. This section is updated the day that changes, and the Privacy Policy already sets out what advertising will and will not collect, because that belongs in front of you before the first advertisement rather than after it.

When advertising does run, advertisers get no input into coverage, no advance notice of stories, and no ability to have one removed or softened. Ad units will be labeled, and no advertising will run on this page or on any policy page.

Two arrangements do not exist today. If either one ever starts, this section gets updated before the first piece runs, not after:

• Affiliate links. We publish none. Where an article names a service it links to that service, because a reader needs to get there, and no link on this site pays us anything. If we add affiliate links, they will be labeled on the page itself and disclosed here.
• Sponsored or advertiser-funded content. We publish none. If we ever do, it will be labeled clearly, kept separate from editorial, and it will never carry licensed editorial photography, which is a condition of our image licenses rather than a house preference.

We take no payment for coverage and no payment to alter or remove a published story. Not now, and not at a number.

Masthead

Reelio is small and says so. Listing an editorial board we do not have would be checkable in about a minute, so this is the actual list.

Teja Pagidimarri, Founder and Editor. Writes, edits and maintains the site. Contact details and disclosures are at /author/teja-pagidimarri.

We do not use AI personas, invented pen names or generated authors. No article carries a "reviewed by" or "fact-checked by" second byline, because one person does that work here and a second name on it would be a falsehood.

When writers join, they appear in this section with their credentials and their previous bylines, and the page gets re-dated.

Founded, and where

Reelio was founded in 2026 and published its first article in July 2026. The operation is based in Fort Worth, Texas, United States.
