Slow Horses Season 6 Episode Schedule: All Six Dates

Apple has published the entire release schedule for Slow Horses season six in one sentence, and that sentence contains no time of day.

Here it is, from the June 2026 announcement on Apple TV Press: "The highly anticipated six-episode sixth season will premiere globally on Wednesday, September 16, 2026 with the first episode, followed by one episode weekly until October 21, 2026."

That's the start, the count, the cadence and the finish in 27 words. What it doesn't carry is an hour. Not Eastern, not Pacific, not anything. Every US-facing schedule you'll find that prints a drop time for season six is printing a number Apple has not published.

So this page does two things. It sets out the six dates that follow from Apple's sentence, and it leaves the release-time column empty instead of filling it with a guess.

The six episode dates

Apple has published no release time in any US zone, so the single time column below records the announced schedule rather than an observed habit.

How the four middle dates were worked out

Apple named two dates, 16 September and 21 October, plus a cadence of one episode a week. Episodes two through five are arithmetic on that sentence, which is what the dagger against them in the table marks. They are not four separate Apple announcements, and nobody should present them as such.

The arithmetic is worth showing because it also validates itself. Sixteen September to 21 October is 35 days. Thirty-five days is exactly five weekly steps. Six episodes at one a week, starting on the 16th, land on the 21st with no remainder, which means there's no skip week hiding in the middle of the run and no double-episode premiere absorbing a date. Had Apple's two endpoints been 42 days apart, one of those two things would have to be true and the grid above would be wrong.

Every date in the table is a Wednesday, which follows from the premiere being a Wednesday and the gap being a whole number of weeks.

Why the time column stays empty

Reelio read the season six press release end to end looking for a clock time. There isn't one. The word Apple uses is "globally," which describes coverage, not scheduling, and it's the only word in the release that touches the question at all.

Apple wrote almost the same sentence a year ago. The season five announcement, published in June 2025, said the six-episode fifth season would premiere globally on Wednesday, 24 September 2025 with the first episode, followed by one episode weekly until 29 October 2025. Same structure, same 35-day span, same six Wednesdays, and the same absence of a time. Two consecutive seasons announced with a template that has no hour in it isn't an oversight anyone is about to correct. It's how Apple writes these.

An outlet can publish a time it observed last year and label it as an observation. That's a defensible thing to do, and it's a different claim from the one this table makes.

Where the date turns up outside the press release

Two other Apple-owned pages carry the premiere date, and neither adds an hour.

The Apple TV Press show page for Slow Horses lists the season six release date as 16 September 2026 and stops there. The Slow Horses page on Apple TV itself carries a "New Season Sep 16" badge, with no year and no time. Three Apple properties, one date, zero clock times.

For the record on how far ahead this was locked in: Apple announced season six on 15 October 2024, in a release that describes the renewal as following the season four finale. The full schedule arrived on 11 June 2026, twenty months later, which is why it could be published without any of the usual hedging.

What the record does not establish

Plenty, and it's worth being specific, because this is exactly where release-date pages start inventing things.

No release time exists, for any region. Not US, not UK, not Australia. Anyone publishing 3am ET, midnight PT, or 8am BST for season six is sourcing it from something other than Apple's announcement, and they should say what.

No episode titles are public. Apple's release names none. Titles for season six have not been announced.

No runtimes are public. The table above leaves runtime blank for the same reason it leaves the time column blank. Apple publishes no per-episode runtime before broadcast, and a figure taken from previous seasons is an observation about those seasons rather than information about this one.

Nothing here says what happens in any episode. Reelio hasn't seen footage and doesn't describe any. Apple's release does confirm the season is adapted from "Joe Country" and "Slough House," the sixth and seventh novels in Mick Herron's Slough House series, which is a sourcing fact rather than a plot one.

A seventh season has not been announced. The June 2026 release doesn't mention one. That the season adapts two books rather than one is a production detail and not a statement about what comes next.

Dates can move. Apple has published a schedule, not a contract. If it changes, the change will come from Apple TV Press before it comes from anywhere else.
